Springfield
Springfield wraps the Springfield Golf Club off Springfield Parkway, and the course shapes the whole community. Homes back to fairways and wooded buffers on lots that median around four tenths of an acre, wider than anything else in this part of Fort Mill. Most went up between 2006 and 2017 under Lennar, Evans Coghill, Cunnane, Arthur Rutenberg, Shea, Simonini and David Weekley, so this is custom and semi-custom work rather than production building, and it shows in the size and the finishes.

Schools In Springfield
Here is the thing most buyers get wrong about Springfield. Springfield Elementary and Springfield Middle sit right up the parkway, but they are not the zoned schools for this community. Here is who your kids would actually be zoned for and how those schools measure up.

Fort Mill Middle
Nation Ford High
School grades and scores from Niche and GreatSchools, retrieved September 2026. Attendance zones from York County GIS and Fort Mill School District, current for 2026-27. Zones change as the district grows. Verify assignments for an exact address with the district's Find My Schools locator before making decisions. Springfield Elementary and Springfield Middle are nearby but serve areas west and north of this community.
Springfield's homeowners association is managed by Kuester Management Group, and dues on current listings run roughly $460 to $535 a quarter depending on the section, so budget somewhere near $1,900 to $2,100 a year. Dues support the clubhouse, fitness center, outdoor pool, tennis and sport courts, playground, picnic area, sidewalks and walking trails. Golf is separate. Springfield Golf Club is run by Leroy Springs and Company, the nonprofit behind the Anne Springs Close Greenway, and its memberships cover four courses, with a family membership published at $350 a month and no initiation fee. The club has noted a closed waiting list for that membership at times, so check availability directly. Confirm current dues and club rates before making decisions.
